Terms and Conditions for Clients

In placing an advertisement on one of my websites or in engaging me to produce and/or make available on the world wide web or elsewhere a web page or website or graphic on their behalf, clients agree to accept the terms and conditions set out here and to accept the privacy policy. Clients are asked to read these before submitting material or placing an order.
Prices and payment terms are as shown on the appropriate page of the relevant website or as otherwise agreed.
I take no responsibility for errors or omissions in any publication nor for any consequences of any such errors or omissions. It is the responsibility of the client to assure him/herself of the accuracy and completeness of any published work.
Work will be deemed to have been approved by the client if the client does not request an amendment within a reasonable period of time after the work is made available online for his/her inspection and approval.
All text, graphics, images, trademarks or other devices submitted for publication must be the property and copyright of the client or he/she must ensure that he/she has obtained the necessary permission for their use by me.
The client agrees to indemnify me to the full extent of any claim brought against me or my agents in respect of anything published by the client or published on his/her behalf and in respect of any legal or other costs incurred in dealing with such a claim.
The client must ensure that his/her published content complies with all the relevant advertising and other standards and legal requirements and that it is decent, truthful and honest.
The client may request termination of any publication at any time. There will be no termination charge.
I reserve the right to edit any text, images or graphics supplied by the client.
Where a client submits changes to his/her published items which are considered unreasonable or technically unachievable by me these need not be implemented.
I reserve the right to terminate a publication at any time subject to a pro rata refund of any advance payment made.
I will not be liable for any loss arising from the suspension or termination of any publication nor from its use.
I will always endeavour to ensure maximum time 'on-line' for the client's publication but cannot undertake that 'uptime' will be 100%.
I reserve the right to discontinue unpaid publication at any time without informing the client.
I reserve the right to refuse items for publication.
The client accepts that I may contact him/her from time to time by email, the postal service and by telephone. Such contact may include sales and marketing materials.
Each page on a website produced by me for the client may carry a small link to one of my own websites.
The client agrees to accept my Privacy Policy.
The client agrees that any use made of the facilities provided, directly or indirectly, by myself or my agents will conform to what can be regarded as 'acceptable use'. In particular the client will not utilise hosting or email or other facilities to publish or distribute 'spam', unsolicited emails or offensive or illegal material.
The client agrees to give proper consideration to security and control issues in respect of any publication, website, email, domain name or associated service that I provide to him/her in order to safeguard his/her own interests in these respects.
Under no circumstances will I be liable to the client for an amount exceeding that paid to me by the client for services rendered in the current financial year.
Any provision of services by me to a client will be subject in the case of dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time and clients should consult the latest version as published on this page.
