Privacy Policy

My processing of personal data is in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act (UK). A general description of my purposes in holding such information and the uses I make of it is listed in the Register maintained by the Data Protection Registrar.
I hold information about my clients and contacts in order to provide and service my websites and clients' websites and to support my business activities.
Any client or advertiser using my services or websites accepts and agrees that I may pass information relating to the client or advertiser to third parties and agrees that third parties may themselves collect such information where I deem that this is necessary in order to facilitate the carrying out of functions in the interests of the client. Such functions include registration of the client's domain name and arranging third party services on the client's behalf. The client accepts that he/she need not necessarily be made aware of such arrangements in all cases.
All clients are automatically added to my emailing lists but I will not pass such details on to anyone else (except when required and permitted by law or in the normal course of displaying agreed advertising or when necessary to set up an account or acquire services on behalf of the client) without the client's prior permission.
I do not directly seek to collect personal information about visitors to my websites except where it is specifically stated that this is being done but I might indirectly employ third party technology and allow the use of 'cookies' to enable the collection of data for statistical purposes to assist in monitoring the use of Web pages.
I allow the use of 'cookies' and third party technology to enable collection of data for tracking purposes by advertisers and their agents in order to monitor the effectiveness of advertising on my websites.
My websites may participate in advertising programs which allow that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on the visitor's browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of advertisements being served.
Visitors are free to disallow the use of cookies when using any of my websites.
I use third-party advertising companies to serve ads to visitors of my websites. These companies may use information (not including the visitor's name, address, email address, or telephone number) about visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to the visitor. As a third party vendor Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to my websites and other sites on the Internet. Visitors may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
Clients, business contacts and visitors are entitled to request a copy of the information I hold about them. I may charge a fee for providing this.
